Use the time clock

Identify by employee ID at a shared kiosk, clock in or out, and optionally change the job you are working.

The time clock is the shared kiosk anyone walks up to, enters their employee ID, and punches in or out. Unlike the operator terminal it is not tied to one signed-in person, so a whole crew can use one wall-mounted screen. Every punch becomes a time record reviewed in Workforce.

Identify yourself

  1. From the terminal landing screen, select Time Clock.
  2. Enter your employee ID on the on-screen number pad and confirm. The terminal looks you up and shows your name, department, and current status.

Clock in or out

  1. If you are clocked out, the terminal shows Clock In. If you are not scheduled today it warns that the punch counts as overtime, then clocks you in.
  2. If you are clocked in, it shows Clock Out along with the time you clocked in and the job you are currently on.
  3. Make your punch. The terminal confirms it with your name and the time, then returns to the start screen for the next person after a few seconds.

Change the job you are working

  1. While clocked in, select Change Job.
  2. Pick an operation from the list of active work orders to switch your labor to it, or pick Indirect / no job to stay clocked in without a job.
  3. The terminal confirms the switch and resets.
Enter ID -> Clock In / Clock Out
(when clocked in: Change Job -> operation or Indirect)
