Filter lists and save views
Narrow any list with search and filters, show or hide columns, then save the combination as a named view you can reselect later.
Most screens in Workcell are lists. Every list shares the same controls for narrowing what you see and shaping the columns, and you can save any combination of filters and columns as a named view so you do not rebuild it on every visit. Views are scoped to the kind of record you are looking at (the users list keeps its own views, the orders list keeps its own), so each list has its own set.
Filter and search
- Use the search box for quick text matching across the list.
- Open the filter panel and narrow by the fields that list supports (status and other module-specific options). The filter button shows a count of how many filters are active.
- Filters you set stay applied while you work, so you do not re-apply them on every visit.
Show, hide, and sort columns
- Open the columns menu in the toolbar and check or uncheck columns to control which appear in the table.
- Sortable columns and pagination handle long result sets.
Save the current view
The view switcher in the toolbar names the view you are looking at (or All when no view is selected). When you change the filters or columns away from a saved view, a small unsaved-changes marker appears next to its name.
- Set up the filters and columns you want.
- Open the view switcher and select Save as new view, type a name, and confirm. The new view becomes the active one.
- To return to an unfiltered list, open the switcher and pick All.
Reselect and manage views
- Open the view switcher and pick a saved view by name to apply its filters and columns.
- While a view is active and you have changed it, choose Save changes to update the view or Discard changes to return to what was saved.
- From a view's menu you can Rename it, Duplicate it, Delete it, or Set as default (and later Remove default).
A view marked as the default is applied automatically the next time you open that list, unless you arrive with filters already set.
