Run a report
Open a report from the library, scope it with parameters and filters, and read the result.
A report turns the live data from across Workcell into an answer you can read. The Library is the catalog of every report you can run, and the Viewer is where one runs against your data. You do not export or copy anything to run a report; it reads the same records you work with in the source module.
Open a report
- Go to Analytics. The Library lists every report you have access to, with the count of total reports, favorites, custom reports, and categories across the top.
- Narrow the list with the category dropdown (Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, Quality, Workforce, Financial) or type in the search box to match a report by name or description.
- Switch between Cards and List with the view toggle if you prefer one layout.
- Click a report (or its Run action in list view) to open it in the Viewer.
Click the star on any report to mark it a favorite so it is easy to find again.
Scope and read the result
- Set the report's parameters at the top of the Viewer. These vary by report and can include a date or date range, an As of date, a location, or a free-text search.
- If a report has additional filters, open them with the filter button; a badge shows how many filters are active.
- Some reports require a value before they will run (for example, an item to search for). The Viewer tells you what to choose; pick it and the report runs.
- Read the result as a table or as Cards, with summary metrics across the top where the data supports them.
- Select Refresh to re-run the report against the latest data.
Library -> pick a report -> set parameters / filters -> read table or cards -> refresh
Where to go next
- Save a copy of the result with Export a report.
- Create your own report in Build a custom report.
- The numbers come from every module; see How work moves through Workcell.
