Build a dashboard
Create a custom dashboard, add metric and list widgets, then arrange the layout to fit how you work.
A custom dashboard is your own arrangement of widgets, separate from the Overview dashboard each module opens on. You build it from two kinds of widget: a metric (a single headline figure) and a list (a short table of rows). You can keep several dashboards and switch between them from the top of the screen.
Create a dashboard
- Go to Dashboards and select New Dashboard.
- Enter a Name (for example, Operations) and select Create.
- The new dashboard opens, empty, ready for widgets. When you have more than one, use the dashboard picker at the top left to switch; the one marked (default) is the one that opens first.
Add widgets
- With a dashboard open, select Add Widget.
- Pick a Type: Metric for a single value, or List for a table of rows.
- Pick a Source. Metrics cover Sales Bookings, Sales Backlog, On-Time Delivery, Quote Win Rate, and Quote Count. Lists cover the Quote Follow-Up Queue and At-Risk Accounts.
- Select Add. The widget appears on the grid. Metrics drop in one cell wide; lists drop in two cells wide. Repeat to add as many as you need.
Arrange the layout
- Select Arrange to enter edit mode. A toolbar appears across the top of each widget.
- Use the arrow buttons to move a widget left, right, up, or down across the four-column grid.
- Use the maximize and minimize buttons to grow or shrink a widget by one cell.
- Use the X on a widget to remove it.
- Select Save Layout to keep your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
New Dashboard -> Add Widget -> Arrange -> Save Layout
Delete a dashboard
Select the trash button at the top right to delete the dashboard you are viewing.
