Core
The shared UI every Workcell screen uses: navigation, search, lists and filters, dashboards, and notifications.
Every module in Workcell is built from the same set of building blocks. Learn them once and every screen feels familiar.
Navigation
The left sidebar holds the current module's screens. Switch modules from the home hub or the sidebar. The footer carries Home, Settings, Help, and the organization switcher. Breadcrumbs at the top of a record show where you are and let you step back up.
Lists and filters
Most screens are lists: orders, items, jobs, NCRs. Every list shares the same controls:
- A search box for quick text matching.
- A filter panel to narrow by status, date, owner, and module-specific fields.
- Sortable columns, and pagination for long result sets.
Filters you set stick while you work so you do not re-apply them on every visit.
Overview dashboards
Most modules open on an Overview dashboard: a row of headline metrics over panels that surface what needs attention (queues, exceptions, aging, recent activity). The dashboard is a starting point; click any figure to drill into the underlying records.
Notifications
When something needs you (an approval to review, a record assigned to you, a threshold crossed) it appears in Notifications, reachable from anywhere. Clearing a notification takes you straight to the record.
Records and actions
A record's available actions depend on its status. Workcell uses named actions (Send, Approve, Release, Receive, Close) rather than free-form status edits, so the next legal step is always the button in front of you. Each module's status docs spell out which actions are available in which state.
