Use the warehouse terminal
Run warehouse work from one kiosk: receive, pick, transfer, count, and ship, with every action posting to inventory.
The warehouse terminal is the full-screen kiosk for floor warehouse work. It groups the day's tasks into five tabs (Receive, Pick, Transfer, Count, Ship) with big touch targets and a number pad, so staff can work without the desktop UI. Every action posts to the same inventory and warehouse records the office sees.
Receive
- Open the Receive tab. It lists the receipts still waiting, both pending and partially received.
- Tap a receipt, choose the location to receive into, and confirm the quantity for each line (the expected quantity is filled in for you).
- Select Confirm Receipt. The receipt posts and inventory updates.
Pick
- Open the Pick tab. It lists released sales orders ready to pick.
- Tap an order to start its pick. The terminal opens the pick screen where you confirm each line; when every line is picked the order is ready to ship.
Transfer
- Open the Transfer tab. Choose the from location, the item (only items on hand at that location appear), and the to location.
- Enter the quantity on the number pad and select Transfer. The move posts and inventory updates.
Count
- Open the Count tab. Choose a location and an item; the terminal shows the expected on-hand quantity.
- Enter the counted quantity and select Submit Count. If it differs from on hand, the terminal posts an adjustment for the difference; if it matches, no adjustment is made.
Ship
- Open the Ship tab. It lists shipments that are picked or pending.
- Select Ship Now on a shipment to record it shipped and decrement inventory.
Receive -> Pick -> Transfer -> Count -> Ship
(each tab posts to inventory and warehouse records)
Where to go next
