Manage carriers

Set up the shipping carriers and service levels that shipments are sent with.

Carriers are the shipping services you send with, and their service levels are the speeds you offer. Setting them up means they are ready to pick when you ship an order.

Add a carrier

  1. Go to Warehouse > Carriers and select New carrier.
  2. Enter the name and a short code (for example, FedEx / FDX).
  3. Optionally record your account number, contact details, and a tracking URL template so tracking numbers link straight to the carrier's site.

Add service levels

Open a carrier to manage its service levels, the individual speeds it offers:

  1. Add a service level with a name (Ground, 2-Day, Overnight), an optional code, and the expected transit days.
  2. Edit or remove service levels as your options change.

When you ship, you pick a carrier and one of its service levels on the shipment.

Keep them current

Mark a carrier or a service level inactive to stop offering it without losing the history on past shipments.
