Shops on Microsoft usually keep controlled prints in a SharePoint document library, with versions and metadata maintained there by the quality group. WorkCell does not want to replace that. Documents already attach to items, jobs, and lots inside WorkCell; the connection we plan adds a second way to fill that slot, pointing at a file in a library instead of uploading a copy. An operator opens the drawing from the operation they are running. WorkCell will not run your revision approvals, because there is no approval routing or electronic signature in it; the link points back to the library that does hold the controlled copy.
