Gmail

Gmail does the same work Outlook does, for the shops that run Google. A customer emails a revised schedule or a new PO into a shared inbox, and the person who sees it first retypes it. What we plan to build is the link between a Gmail thread and the record it belongs to, so the quote carries the message that asked for it and the shipment notice goes back out through your own account. Google Workspace shops tend to run the inbox as the filing system; the aim is to stop that being the only copy of what a customer agreed to.
