Fusion 360 is Autodesk's cloud CAD and CAM package: model, drawing and toolpath in one place, with version history kept in the cloud rather than in a filename. The planned connection runs one direction, engineering data into WorkCell. Component names and part numbers become items, the assembly structure becomes a bill of material, and a new version in Fusion raises a new revision in WorkCell rather than quietly replacing the one the floor is building to. WorkCell will not generate a toolpath or open a design. It schedules, buys and costs the part Fusion defined.
