Manage notifications
Review, filter, and clear the notifications Workcell raises when something needs you, then jump to the record behind each one.
When something needs you (a quote pending approval, parts received for a job, a low-stock item, a note you were mentioned in) Workcell raises a notification. Notifications is the full list of everything raised for you, reachable from anywhere. Each notification carries a severity, a message, and, where it applies, a link straight to the record behind it.
Read and clear notifications
- Open Notifications. Unread notifications show their title in bold; read ones are plain.
- The Severity column marks each notification as Info, Success, Warning, or Error.
- In the Related column, select the link (for example View quote or View job) to open the source record. Following the link marks that notification read.
- Use the row's mail button to Mark as read or Mark as unread, and the X button to Dismiss a notification you are done with.
Work through many at once
- Tick the checkbox on each row, or the header checkbox to select the whole page.
- With rows selected, use Mark read or Dismiss in the toolbar to act on all of them.
- Select Mark all as read at any time to clear the unread state across your notifications.
Find a specific notification
- Use the search box to match notifications by text.
- Open the filter panel and narrow by Severity (Info, Success, Warning, Error) or Status (Unread, Read).
- Sort by Received to put the newest or oldest notifications first, and use pagination to move through long lists.
- Choose which columns (Severity, Notification, Message, Related, Received) are visible, and save a view to reuse a filter and column setup later.
