Shopify is the hosted storefront and checkout a lot of manufacturers sell through, direct to consumer or B2B. This connection runs one direction: orders come in. A Shopify order lands in WorkCell as a sales order with its lines, customer, and ship-to address already filled in, so the person who used to read the Shopify admin on one screen and type into the ERP on the other stops doing that. From there it behaves like any other order, allocated from stock or released as a job and scheduled. Fulfilment, inventory levels, and the product catalog stay yours to run in Shopify.
