A planned MQTT subscriber, so a shop already publishing machine telemetry to a broker can route cycle counts and faults into WorkCell.
Machine Connectivity
MQTT is a lightweight publish and subscribe transport, not a data model. Devices publish messages to topics on a broker and anything that cares subscribes, which is why it carries most of the machine traffic in shops that have an industrial IoT layer at all. It says nothing about what a message means, so this connection will be configured rather than discovered: point WorkCell at your broker, map the topics you already publish, and say which machine and which field each one carries. From there cycle starts, piece counts and fault messages post against the job on that work center without an operator keying them.
