Using Arch
Ask the built-in assistant about your data, records, and how to get things done in Workcell.
Arch is the assistant built into Workcell. It knows your organization's data and how the product works, so you can ask in plain language instead of hunting through screens.
Asking a question
- Open Arch from the sidebar or the home hub.
- Type a question the way you would ask a colleague. For example:
- "Which open orders are past their promised ship date?"
- "What is on backorder for Acme Industries?"
- "How do I convert a quote to an order?"
- Arch answers from your live data, and links to the records or docs it used where it can.
What it is good at
- Finding records across modules without you knowing which screen they live on.
- Summarizing state: open NCRs, jobs behind schedule, aging receivables.
- Explaining how to do something, drawing on the same help content you are reading now.
What it will not do
- Arch does not expose how Workcell's engines decide things internally (how the scheduler sequences work, how planning nets demand). It answers what is true for your data and how to use the product, not the proprietary logic underneath.
Conversations
Each chat is kept under Arch > Chats so you can return to an earlier thread. Start a new chat for an unrelated question to keep each conversation focused.
